In 2014, he got injured in his back in a bombing targeted their home's farm led to suffering hemiplegia. He suffers from severe bed sores. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), 13,000 Palestinians were wounded (as of June 19, 2018), the majority severely, with some 1,400 struck by three to five bullets. No Israelis were physically harmed during this time period, Israel's use of deadly force was condemned during the UN general assembly on June 13 th along with other human rights organizations.. The Israeli military (IDF) started using new weaponry, explosive bullets that shatter bones, tissue, destroying veins and arteries, the aim is to create a handicapped community, especially amongst the younger male population.   •  GAZA STRIP- MAY 21,2018: Wesam Hijazi, 32, is seen in critical condition at the European Gaza hospital Intensive care unit on May 21,2018 in Gaza strip. He has been in a coma for a week after being shot in the head with an exploding bullet at the protests on May 14th. Wesam’s younger brother, Yousef, was also injured in his abdomen, his older brother killed in an Israeli bombing in 2010. Wesam is married and a father of one-year old child.   • GAZA CITY, GAZA STRIP- MAY 29,2018 Abdullah Al-Anqar, 13, gets medical treatment for his amputated leg at the Al-Shifa hospital on May 29,2018 in Gaza city, Gaza strip. He was shot by twice in his leg at close range with explosive bullets, one in his upper thigh and the other under his knee on May 3rd. He was climbing the Israeli border fence when he was severely injured. The Israel soldiers decided to see his life, dragging him through the border fence, then he was flown to Soroka hospital in Beer Shaba, Israel where he spent 16 days in Intensive care, his leg was amputated there as well. The Israeli military (IDF) started using new weaponry, explosive bullets that shatter bones, tissue, destroying veins and arteries, the aim is to create a handicapped community, especially amongst the young male population. He was injured on March 30th when he arrived to the protest near Rafah looking to protect his grand children who went there without his knowledge.   • GAZA CITY, GAZA STRIP- MAY 25,2018 : Dawlat Fawzi Hamadin, 33, from Beit Hanoun, gets washed by her mother on May 25, 2018 in Gaza. She was shot on May 14th,  damaging the main artery of the heart with severe tissue damage. Dawlat was pronounced dead, then after an operation that lasted for seven hours she survived. She is the only breadwinner of the family and worked as a hairdresser.   • BEIT LAHIA, GAZA STRIP- MAY 27,2018Fadel Al-Zain, 70, is taken care of by his daughter Hana' Al-Zain on May 27,2018 in Beit Lahia, Gaza strip. He was injured in height of the 2014 offensive when bombing hit near his home. He is now paralyzed, quadriplegic, and can't function on his own after he suffered internal bleeding in his brain.The world’s largest open air prison along the Israel-Gaza border.   • GAZA CITY, GAZA STRIP- MAY 21,2018 Baraa’ Hassan, 23,  suffers from a malignant brain tumor is seen at Rantisi hospital, one of the best medical facilities for Cancer,in Gaza city on May 21,2018. His case is serious, he was transferred to Hebron Hospital underwent a surgery to remove a part of the tumor. After the surgery he fell in a coma lasted for 45 days.   • GAZA STRIP- MAY 22,2018 : Kefah Al-Ajrami, 47, holds her daughter Zamzam Al-Ajrami, 9 years  who was crying after seeing her mother in pain on May 22,2018 in Gaza city, Gaza strip. Kefah is a mother of seven, she was shot in her left leg with an exploding bullet causing extensive injury to her leg. She went to the protests on March 30th  along with her children and husband but was nowhere near fence. The Israeli military (IDF) started using new weaponry, explosive bullets that shatter bones, tissue, destroying veins and arteries, the aim is to create a handicapped community, especially amongst the young male population.  Everyone is well aware that Gaza's two million inhabitants are trapped in a cycle of violence and poverty, created by policies and political decisions on both sides.   • GAZA CITY, GAZA STRIP- MAY 14,2018 A family grieves as another funeral takes place on May 14,2018 in Gaza city, Gaza strip. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), 13,000 Palestinians were wounded (as of June 19, 2018), the majority severely, with some 1,400 struck by three to five bullets. No Israelis were physically harmed during this time period, Israel's use of deadly force was condemned during the UN general assembly on June 13 th along with other human rights organizations.The world’s largest open air prison along the Israel-Gaza border.   • BEIT LAHIA, GAZA STRIP- MAY 28,2018Fadel Al-Zain, 70, is taken care of by his daughter Hana' Al-Zain on May 28,2018 in Beit Lahia, Gaza strip. He was injured in height of the 2014 offensive when bombing hit near his home. He is now paralyzed, quadriplegic, and can't function on his own after he suffered internal bleeding in his brain.The world’s largest open air prison along the Israel-Gaza border.
